Tuesday - August 11

After all the rain (and more during the night), it was a beautiful day!    We both went into town after breakfast - Mark to run a bunch of errands and I visited "Aunt" Ginny at the Sugar Creek Alzheimer Center.   She was happy to see me and I always enjoy our visits.    She had a few times of confusion, but overall, does very good for almost 103 years old!!!

I met Claire for lunch at "Anju", a new place downtown in an old building with all the neat brick walls, hardwood floors, tin ceilings, etc.   It is a Korean themed place and we enjoyed our wine, lunch and dessert of 7 silken tofu doughnuts with caramel sauce served warm!    Yummy!      Claire and I brought the extras home for Mike and Mark

Yummy warm doughnuts!

Back to Daisy.....good to have some downtime after all the go go go of past few days.    Mark went back into town later in the afternoon for a visitation - he worked with both husband and wife and she passed away suddenly at only 61.    Very sad...

Liam and Connor are enjoying a fun 4 days with their Mom and Dad on their RV
at the Wisconsin Dells

So much to do at the Dells (so they say....we've never been there)!!!
Have fun guys!

This IL weather has been fantastic since we returned about 10 days ago (well, except for the very heavy rain yesterday).    Cool mornings and evenings and daytime temps in the low 80's!   For August, this is really appreciated as we now what FL felt like!!!

When I came back to the campground today, there were 5 big RV's waiting to check in.    This is a happening place and since Kamp Komfort is right off the interstate, there are so many coming and going from all over the USA.   .   We enjoy watching all this activity!
