Hello from beautiful Chicago.....we arrived here around noon today and been out walking and enjoying this pretty day.
Started the day with an 8:00 appointment with my orthopedic Dr. Novotny to check shoulder/neck. They took 2 x-rays and I was diagnosed with "Shoulder Impingement Syndrome" (fancy name for tendonitis). Dr. gave me a steroid shot and I start physical therapy next Wednesday. I'm to take Tylenol for the neck pain and tension headache. I have a follow-up on September 10th. Sooo hoping this will take care of all the discomfort!
Went to Keps for breakfast, to the storage area and finally on our way to the Windy City.
We walked to the Shedd Aquarium and stopped at The Burnham Harbor Cafe for beers and snow crab. Soo neat sitting by the water and lots of Bears fans there as tonight is first game against the Miami Dolphins.
We put 17,091 steps on our Fitbits.

Met Ryan for light dinner and good chat! Another big day coming tomorrow - we'll be on our friends' boat anchored off Navy Pier for the 2:30 Blues practice.
