Saturday - October 6

Quite a contrast in the weather today.....we left Brewerton at 8:15 - cloudy and gloomy and along the way, we had rain, fog, sun, and finally really warm sunshine with a high of 80 at 2:30 when we arrived in Woodland, PA..    Staying staying for 2 nights here at the Woodland Campground.

Driving south thru NY and then into PA.....sooo pretty with the mountains and rolling hills.    Still not much color, though......all the rain and heat from the summer has really slowed up the fall foliage in these parts.

Had lunch at McDonalds in Lamar, PA.........Michael had mentioned stopping in South Williamsport (where he lived many years ago) for a Philly Cheesesteak, but by that time we had passed this area and finding a place to park Flo is always a challenge!   So, McDonalds it was.    The AC must've been on full blast as it was freezing inside, so got our food and came out and ate in Flo.     When we had Daisy, we had a generator we could start up and have the microwave.    Flo does not have a generator, so can''t warm up a sandwich, heat leftovers, etc.    Oh well....Philly Cheesesteak sure sounds good....

We walked round the park - the RV's are all tucked in very close here....around 5 we heard thunder and whoaa...the heavens opened up big time!    Big downpour for about 1/2 hour and then the sun came out!

Some pretty rural scenes from Tioga, PA
