Thursday - October 4

The rain and wind started around 8 AM....heavy at times and just an ugly morning although temperature was 66.    Rain stopped around 10 but winds continued to howl (gusting to 27 mph).    Glad we are not traveling today.   Decided to stay over one more day.

We exercised, had breakfast and around 11:30 Mark was ready for a trip to Alexandria Bay (or Alex Bay as the locals call it).    First stop was "Coffee Pot Cathy's"  for our coffee/latte fix.    And around 12:30, the sun came out - tah dah......what a treat after so much rain.     It warmed up to 75 (winds died down) and was just delightful to walk around - most of these stores were open but not for much longer.

Back to Flo for lunch, opened the windows and let the sun shine in....rode our bikes - just turned out to be such a NICE day!    So many good places to eat in these parts so we thought about going to where we've been before (Clipper Inn) in Clayton or try another one (trip advisor)......so we went to "Cavallario's" in Alex Bay and it was excellent ( I had the bourbon pecan salmon and Mark had a ribeye)!!!!

When Mark does all the logistics of where we're going, where we're staying, etc., he gets all the nitty gritty on the various parks (they are all rated) and recently, he came across one in Pennsylvania (headed there on Saturday) that was a "Nude RV Park".    OOOOOkay????    Sure enough apparently there are others around the country where clothing is optional except at the pool, where it's a no no!
Holy Moly....not going there!

Saw this cute little saying on a block of wood when we were in Hyannis Port....now seeing same logo on T-shirts!!!
