We drove to Pulaski, NY (1 hour south) and met Allie and Owen for lunch. They are traveling thru NY enroute to New England to see the sites and fall color. What a fun 2-hour visit and yummy lunch at Arties Hometown Diner. Allie, Owen and Mark had the meatloaf special and I had a terrific omelet It was sooo good to be together and can't wait to hear about their travels these next few weeks!

All of us
All of these personalized coffee mugs are for Arties regular customers....what a neat and clever idea!
We bought some muffins at Arties to go.....neat place and open for breakfast/lunch. We closed the place down at 2:30 and then more chatting outside and hugged good bye....
Pulaski is a neat little town that seems to be doing well....interesting old buildings and population of 2,300+. But it's real claim to fame is that it is the #2 location for best salmon fishing (after Alaska) on the Salmon River which flows into Lake Ontario.
On our way back, we stopped at Panera in Watertown. We haven't been to one in ages and I got an e-mail that I had some free treats (drink and pastry), so.....we got a pecan roll and latte to go +++ 2 cherry/vanilla pink ribbon bagels (October special for breast cancer awareness). So, we have lots of good choices for breakfast tomorrow.
These boots were made for walkin'......
After a lull from the rain, it has started up again.....so hoping for the sun to shine tomorrow!
