Saturday - June 26

It was supposed to rain today, but instead, hot, windy and sunny (off and on).     Anne checked in this morning telling us about all the flooding in McLean Co - terrible pics of cars/people stranded, roads damaged, I-55 closed, ballfields under water, parking lots flooded, etc.    Lots of basements getting pumped out - Anne had some water come in thru sliding glass doors.    My friend, Brenda had 11".      Now is when we are thankful we don't have a dirt home.

A leisurely morning - did more packing (going to be in the upper 80's next several days in OH, PA and NY) Mark ran some errands, lunch, short walk and then back to rest till church.

We went to 5:00 Mass at Immaculate Conception.   Father Jonathan Wight is celebrating his 35th year as a priest.

Immaculate Conception in Port Clinton, Ohio

We had a drink on the bridge tonight - windy but warm.    And then BLTs

Tomorrow we are off to get our "home on wheels" !
