Sunday - June 6

Awesome Sunday.....we got Big Red washed, went to 9:30 Mass at Sacred Heart in Cicero (they are officially done with livestreaming Sunday masses - "please come back to church"!!!)     They have a wonderful vocalist and pianist/organist and saw for the 1st time where the Eucharistic Ministers gave out communion using tiny tweezers (not so for Father or Deacon).    A very nice, uplifting celebration!

Off to the Ink Corner Cafe for yummy coffees and breakfast sandwiches (this place is in same building - around the corner from 1-Hour Tees).    We think the guy owns the ink shop and his wife, the cafe.  Mark had them do the lettering for Catrina

Then to Home Depot for several piddlies, to Gander Outdoors (boating, camping and fishing supplies) for new life jacket for Mark and life ring for Catrina.

Home to change clothes, put away more stuff....and work on projects!     91 today!

We had an early supper at Bear Creek and so good to see Jackie and Mike (new owners of Bear Creek and former owners of the Brewerton Diner).    Food was very good!

Stopped for diesel in Big Red, bag of ice, and on home.    Had docktails here at EssKay and met some new Looper folks who came in today from Long Island (Chris and Mary; Laurie and Hal) and Janet and Paul from Seattle.    Fun time and beautiful evening!    We are all leaving Tuesday all heading west....

Zoom tonight but several siblings not available cause of travel.    Theresa and Sharon are vacationing in IN, Tom in OR and Jim in CO.    Jim and Lydia are having dinner tonight with cousin Rita in Denver.    Later this week, we plan to meet up with Rita's brother, John and family here in NY as we're traveling on the Erie Canal.

Mark read that Syracuse (south of here) beat a long-time standing record of 92 degrees on June 6th set in 1902 when it reached 93 today!

Tomorrow we'll wrap things up here in Brewerton with laundry, grocery shopping and store Big Red.

Have a great week ahead!
