Thursday - June 3

Rainy day in Brewerton.....started during the night and continued till around 9.     We were up early to do more packing and organizing and then cleaning of Flo.   Off to The Ink Corner Coffee Shop (a favorite) and enjoyed our coffees and  breakfast sandwich (Mark) and my avocado toast.    The real deal here - no processed food!

Stopped at Target for some piddlies and pick up a Rx and then checked in at Winter Harbor making sure they were ready for us to bring in Flo.

Back to the campground, loaded up more stuff in Big Red, hooked Flo to truck and on our way.    She is nicely tucked away for 3 months.   Winter Harbor has made some very nice changes and additions since we were here in 2019.    The grounds have always been lovely with beautiful flowers, but they've expanded and have more slip space, great trex docks, new showers/laundry room, etc.  They even put up a nice shelter with sidewalks all around!

And then it was time to dig in and get Catrina unpacked.    We worked for several hours, had lunch and then Mark suggested we take a break and drive to Watertown (50 miles to the north).    He wanted to look for some things at West Marine.    We took I-81 on the way up and drove thru some very heavy rain - fortunately, it didn't last too long.    Coming home, we took the countryside route on Route 11.    Stopped in Pulaski for an early supper at The Riverhouse - Mark had the chicken parmesan and I had their special loaded baked potato skins - all very good     We remember this town from October, 2018 meeting Allie and Owen at Artie's for breakfast (we were checking out the fall colors).    Mark and I went back there in July, 2019 when he was recuperating from the compression fracture.    Probably the best omelet ever at Artie's.....we just might have to go there between now and Tuesday for breakfast?

As we were coming into Brewerton and got closer to Catrina, we saw so much water standing.    It was starting to sprinkle as we walked to the boat and just after getting inside..............wow, the heavens opened up and a real gully washer!    After tonight, we're to have several days of sunshine and really warming up to 90 over the weekend.

It was a good day, we are tired and achy from all the lifting, steps, etc. but hoping to be in really good shape after tomorrow with everything put away and everything in its place?
