Here it is Labor Day Weekend and the weather is perfect today and sounds good thru Monday! We had cereal and berries on the boat, Mark got a haircut and I batted away at the spiders to start the day!
Still no word from FedEx, but Mark has arranged for us to pick it up in Perrysburg (near Toledo).
We did a pump out in the morning, then lunch and later went to Bassetts for a few groceries. Fall is in the air today with low 70's and this sign of the season at the grocery store...
The mums are here!
A truck was unloading mums as we were leaving!
Michael and Chris wanted a tour of Catrina as they couldn't figure the configuration of how a catamaran was laid out.    Had a good visit and then Mark and I walked downtown to the 16th annual "Perch, peach, pierogi and polka" festival sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.    A block of downtown has been permanently closed off all summer with a big stage on one end for entertainment several nights a week  with many picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, etc.    Fun place for folks to gather, grab some food/drink from one of several restaurants and enjoy the music.    We walked across the street after getting our food, then got a beer/margarita and chowed down.   Enjoyed the polka music, too and there are several bands playing thru the weekend.   The food was all delicious and we sat with a couple from Columbus who also have a home in Naples.   We said our good byes and walked back to the KC tent and shared a slice of peach pie (with the pie came 2 scoops of ice cream....1 vanilla and 1 peach).  Oink
Oink🐷
Walked back to the boat and visited some more with Michael and Chris.    They invited us on their yacht "Persistance"  WOW - 55' Sunseeker - absolutely beautiful!!!     They are the nicest couple - neighbors, owners, and just a few years older than Michael and Anne.
Drew spent Labor Day weekend in Bloomington 3 years ago. He was a freshman at Iowa, Liam in 8th grade and Connor, 7th at Corpus Christi...time flies!!!
