HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to MICHAEL and BROOKE

Congratulations on 23 years!!!
And "thank you" for giving us Drew, Davis, Brady and Blair!
Best wishes to these kiddos for many more happy, healthy years together!!!

We nomads are back on the road - loaded up the car including Mark's 1965 yearbook and at 8:40 we were heading out of Kamp Komfort.    Stopped in Grafton, IL for lunch at the Oyster Bar (#1 on Trip Advisor and well worth it) - great shrimp po boys.    Walked to the Grafton Harbor and found looper friends we first saw in early June at Ess Kay in Brewerton, then  North Tonawanda.    Enroute to get Flo in Brewerton, we stopped with the car and visited them in Erie, PA.    Today, we sat on Laurie and Hal's boat (Gemini) and had so much fun catching up  and then Chris (Cashelmara) and Skippy came onboard.    Lots to cover since we were last together in late June.

Sonny, a friend of theirs who is traveling with his wife Brenda on their PDQ (just like Catrina) came onboard and of course, Sonny and Mark enjoyed sharing PDQ stories.    Sonny and Brenda are farmers from VA who bought their boat and started the loop - 1st time boaters....whoaaa....all kinds of stories out there.   The real ironic thing is that we are familiar with their boat ("New Hope") as we knew the previous owners, Mark and Muffie whom we met in Annapolis in 2016.    Then it was called "Catalyst".    We enjoyed Mark and Muffie who now live in Stuart, FL...... another example of our small world

Missed Mary (Chris's wife) who was grocery shopping with Brenda in Jerseyville

After a very enjoyable 2-hour visit, we said our good byes (they never know when we're going to turn up - but yes, we always let them know we're coming)!   Hopefully Fort Myers will be our next get together.     We still had 3 hours to travel, so....decided to take the ferry across to Portage Des Sioux, MO from Grafton.    Short car/ferry ride of  12 minutes, but smaller than the Drummond Island ferry we took exactly 1 week ago this morning (seems so long ago)!    This ferry ride cut 20 miles from our trip.

We are in Lebanon, MO tonight.    It was another warm, sunny day and ready for some rest and relaxation till we're back traveling tomorrow.    Big lunch, so skipping dinner; well, actually we did take a few cookies set out in the lobby and they were delicious!

Zoom tonight with 9 siblings missing Theresa, Marilyn and Nancy.    Doris had knee replacement on the 14th, so good to get an update on her recovery (painful), Janet helping her sister out with whatever Doris needed done, the bridal shower yesterday, niece Lisa's upcoming wedding, coffee shops and muffins and on and on it went!!!

And then Mass online with Bishop Robert Reed in Boston.

Wishing you all a healthy, happy week!
