Mark was up early (big day for Catrina's lift out) and decided on a biscuits 'n gravy fix at A la Carte downtown. He even brought me back a hazelnut latte from Coffee Express and arrived just as I was getting up at 6:45. One last treat from this yummy place.
He finished up a few odds and ends on Catrina, I stowed any and all loose stuff in Flo and then at 8:15, the guys arrived and set to work with the lift out.
Afterwards, the guys power washed Catrina's bottom to get all the scuzzy stuff off (wasn't too bad) and Mark cleaned the scum that collects at the water line. Toilet bowl cleaner works really good for that. I was off for my mani pedi with Danielle at BeYOUtiful and it was a wonderful experience (after the fiasco of Kristen not showing up 2 weeks ago). Danielle is the owner and was not aware of that situation but very apologetic. She will be my nail person when I'm in Port Clinton. She had a unique seating arrangement for the pedicure. I walked up a few steps and sat up high above her with a bunch of pillows to sit against. I was comfy and she said it was much easier on her back.
Back to Superior Marine just as Mark was finishing up and we said our good byes to Michael, Chris and Dave. We sure enjoyed our stay here and will savor the memories till next May when God willing, we'll be back!
So, Mark hopped in Big Red and pulled away with Flo and me following in the car. We had 170 miles and stopped at Bob Evans in Dundee, MI for lunch. We arrived at the Jellystone Park Campground at 3:20 (across the road from Bronner's Christmas shop - forgot how convenient from when we were here 5 years ago.)
Tomorrow my brother Bob and Linda will join us for some good visiting, shopping and eating in this charming town known as "Little Bavaria".
As we were getting closer to Frankenmuth, the sunshine gave way to lots of clouds and then the sky was getting darker? Sure wasn't expecting any storms today? One hour after setting up, the phone alarms went off and the heavens opened up with heavy rain, strong winds, thunder, lightning AND some hail. Sounded really ominous on Flo's aluminum roof. The radar was nasty and we were sooo glad to be off the road! The rain continued into the evening....we sure hope there's no damage to Flo, Big Red or my car's roofs?
Update on the bed cover for Big Red. Mark talked to customer service today at FedEx. They don't know where it is??? Although the latest tracking info says it's in Perrysburg, OH (suburb of Toledo), they can't find it?
