Today was all about remembering Patrick on the 2nd anniversary of his passing.
A happy memory from June 7, 2015 when the Campbells were at their first air show
featuring the Blue Angels and Uncle Ryan
We miss him so much but he would be so proud of how Anne, Liam and Connor have carried on...
We left the hotel in Lebanon and found "Judes" coffee shop a few blocks away - another neat place. We drove 2 hrs. 15 min to Lampe, MO where our next-door neighbors at Cypress Trail live (Rog and Martin). They have a darling cabin right on Table Rock Lake with gorgeous views. Forgot how hilly Branson and area are - beautiful country. It was so good to see them, visit, and enjoy the burgers Rog prepared on her smoker. We walked down the hill to their little marina with covered slips. What a neat set up - boat is almost right outside their door, protected from the sun and then all that beautiful water to cruise on.

Said our good byes around 3 and we'll be together later in October when we're all back at CT. They are such great folks and neighbors - perfect 4-hour visit. And then onto Branson and check in for Mark's 56th class reunion of Newman Central Catholic High School, Sterling, IL.
Settled in the room and then met some of the classmates who started trickling in. We met for cocktails and dinner (really good buffet) n the hotel (Old Glory room). There were around 150 classmates (38 are now deceased) but only 14 are here with 5 spouses for a grand total of 19.
14 classmates from the class of '65 - (Mark in the coral shirt)
After dinner we all walked outside (after the HOT day, it was so pleasant before the rain and cooler temps come tomorrow. Our hotel is situated in the heart of many shops and restaurants (Branson Landing) with condos on upper floors. It is very nice and every hour on the hour a big water show takes place with fountains reaching high to the sky, fire balls, music, etc. It was really enjoyable watching the 8:00 show. We all went into Landshark and sat at 2 big tables, ordered drinks and visited. At 9:00 we watched that show and then everyone said good night and off to their rooms. Some had traveled from far and near.
Great water show
Today should be the last of the HOT ones....96 this afternoon in Branson!
Good night FSIL (favorite son-in-law).....we sure miss and love you!
