Another long day of travel with heavy traffic. But we arrived at Lake James at 3:30. Parked Flo at Michael's (on Brady's basketball court) and settled in for the next 10 days. Sooo good to be here and see everyone. Drew and Davis are home from college; Ryan, Annette, kiddos, Michael, Brooke, Brady and Blair. Philip is working in Fort Lauderdale and won't be home till late Easter Sunday night.
Had a few stops along the way after leaving the campground at 9:15. Lunch and grocery stop in Orangeburg, SC and another stop at Ingles in Landrum, SC. We were surprised that Georgia and SC had no blooming trees.........but like magic, when we drove across the border and were in NC, oh my.....redbuds, dainty crab blossoms, azaleas, etc. GORGEOUS!!!!
We all went to the Camp for supper - delicious shrimp sliders and fun visiting with their friends. The Camp is such a great place and we also watched Drew, Davis, Ryan and their friend, Pete play pickleball.
Blair is spending the night on Flo. Easter egg hunt for the kiddies tomorrow at the camp - supposed to rain and having our big dinner at night. Not sure if I'll get to the blog tomorrow?
