Friday - April 8

 HAPP BIRTHDA LUKE !!!

This fine young man is "9" today!    Wow....how can that be?    Mark and I were in Wellington, FL on April 8, 2013 for the arrival of our 6th grandson.    Luke is a sweet, busy, active, smart, fun kiddo who takes "caution" to a whole different level!    But he does like roller coasters!    Ha!!!

It was a beautiful day (cooler and less humid) and we went for a walk (1st time in several days).   Mark worked on tire pressure monitors for Flo.   Joe and Joan picked us up at 11 and we were off to downtown to meet Jim, Lydia, Mike and Theresa for one last hurrah!   We all got together for lobster rolls at Mason's - absolutely delicious!

Afterwards we walked to Peter's for ice cream and coffees (hot and iced) and sat and chatted away....our last get together before everyone scatters.    Stefan and Marika (owners of Peter's) are a delightful German couple who we always enjoy and they were so sweet and friendly to our group today.

Stepped outside and just like that, it was good bye time!    Mike and Theresa will be going to visit Mike's relatives here in Fort Myers for a few days.  Joan and Joe headed back to Arcadia, but leaving for IL on Sunday.    Jim and Lydia are leaving Sunday for St. Louis.    What a fun winter with the siblings and spouses (Mark's and mine).    Love these times together and already planning events/restaurants for next season!

Mark finished up the tire work and I did some laundry.    What a pretty day with a strong breeze!   We opened Flo's windows and let the air blow thru.    Chatted with the birthday boy.    After school, he went to the movie (out today) Sonic 2 with friends and then pizza.

Yesterday when we were at Chocolatte, I was reading several cute signs on the wall, but this one was especially funny!

Enjoy your weekend!
