Wednesday - April 6

Whew, it was a hot 'n steamy one today starting off at 7 AM when we left Flo for Mass at St. Francis with Father Anthony.    We left Big Red in church parking lot and decided to walk downtown to Peter's for breakfast.   Probably our last time for the season - said good bye to Coral - she makes a mean latte!  😜

We had plenty of time before Mark's 9:30 haircut, so sat and read and then I walked with him to his brand new haircut location with Jose.     Really nice place (3 of the employees at "Dapper Cuts" broke away and started "The Barber Effect").    Jose does a great job!    While he was giving Mark a new "do", I walked around downtown getting some steps - we've not done much walking the past 3 days!    It was really hot 'n sticky, but Mark was done before 10 and we walked back to Big Red.

St. Francis always has a big egg hunt on Easter Sunday and in this week's bulletin they asked for filled plastic eggs out of desperation.     Mark checked Amazon and sure enough, we could get toy-filled, candy-filled and jelly bean-filled eggs.    2 days later we had them and I dropped off 6 dozen eggs filled with candy and jelly beans to the church secretary!    She was very grateful!

Onto Publix for a few things, stopped in the park and got a bag of ice and on home.    Good day to stay in the AC.

Mark had some projects outside with Flo, but tried to stay in the shade.    Also made a trip to the hardware store.

Mark's sister, Theresa and Mike flew in today from Chicago.

At 3:50 Mark and I left Cypress Trail for the Gatlin dinner show at Parrot Key.    Joan and Joe drove down from Arcadia; Jim, Lydia, Mike and Theresa came together and another awesome sibling gathering!    The dinner was excellent as was another excellent performance by Darryl and Andrea.    Everyone was happy, happy!
