Today is the official start of fall, but it sure feels like summer with 83 sunshiny degrees.    Just a spectacular morning to be off to Ironwood Golf Club to watch Connor and his friend, Luke partner up in the "Best Ball" tournament with several other high schools.    The boys shot a combined 70 to place 2nd for CCHS!    Congrats!!!

We rode in the cart with Anne and it was just a grand day to be out and about.    We only watched 9 holes and then went our separate ways.    Back to KK for us and later met friends, Allie and Owen at Busy Corner for lunch.   We set this date months ago for the 6 of us (Jane and Joe) to get together,,,,,,Joe is in hospice and our thoughts and prayers are always with these two.

We enjoyed our lunch and visit - we were last together in June in Port Clinton.

With all the rain that certainly stopped the harvest for a bit....no dust flying for a few days!   KK is busy this weekend - kiddos are out riding bikes, picnics, campfires, etc., and lots of folks spent the afternoon tailgating and enjoying an ISU win on Family Weekend.
