Sunday - September 3

The temperature kept climbing as the day went on.....sunny and breezy, too, reaching a high of 89.

We started the day saying good bye (I hate good byes) to Bob and Donna as they were heading home.    We've sure enjoyed them and look forward to more fun times and laughs next summer.    On to 10:30 Mass withi Father Jonathan - we will sure miss him and his wonderful quirky, thought-provoking sermons, but we can always tune in to a Sunday Mass at Immaculate Conception online for a Father Jonathan fix.

Stopped at Bergman Orchards - love all their baked goods, produce, etc.    Mark has had his eye on a red raspberry pie all summer..........so today, we bought one of these beauties and it was as delicious as it looks.    Got the laundry done next and then stopped at Kroger for a few things, including vanilla ice cream to go with that pie.

Mums are everywhere at Bergman's - another part of Fall that I love
Excellent red raspberry pie

On home for lunch, put groceries and laundry away.    I made a batch of BBQ and had a nice relaxing afternoon.    We went to The Orchard Farmstand for dinner - a big favorite and tonight it was so busy, they had some young men doing valet parking.    Mark was able to get a spot and we got a table outdoors - sooo pretty with flowers and the vineyards.    Dinner was great - Ohio Street Tacos for Mark and General Tso's chicken for me.

Put some gas in Little Navy and on home in time for the sibling zoom meeting.    9 were on tonight with a variety of things to chat about.

Have a wonderful Labor Day....
