Tuesday - September 12

The sun is shining and it's a grand day to be off to Wisconsin.    We left Mendota at 8 (Bob driving).   Mark and I came up yesterday in the truck as they were going to repair my cracked windshield at KK.    They came today and that job is finished!

Linda and I shopped at Borzynski's and the guys went to The Grind to get some coffees.   Unfortunately, no fall flavors?    But, we had fun with all the pretties and then onto O & H Bakery to place our kringle order for pick-up tomorrow.

Next stop was the Yardarm and good as ever!    Very busy place and enjoyed some delicious Wisconsin cheese curds before our lunch.

Then to Milaeger's - thee favorite Racine shopping spot.    Fun Fun!!!

Upside down Christmas tree - new thing this year - $1,599.00
Retail therapy at its finest!

Checked into our hotel, rested for about an hour and then off to The Corner House on the Lake for drinks and played SkyJo in the bar.    I won 1st game and played part of 2nd game with Mark in the lead.    Since we had a big lunch, not that hungry so went to The Brew House for Taco Tuesday and shared - very good.

CCHS golf team lost by ONE stroke to U High (rival team) in the Intercity tournament today!
