Saturday - May 8

Bright sunshine, but another chilly one (37) to start the day.    We  went to town and met Lee and Tamara for breakfast at Times Past.    Always fun to be with them and since we were not able to get together in FL (Covid and other conflicts), this worked out well and hopefully, this fall, we can see their new condo in Bradenton.    Lots to catch up on and today is Lee's birthday; tomorow is Tamara's.    We brought them a piece of their favorite pie from Busy Corner (banana cream for Lee and cherry for Tamara).

After almost 2 hours, good hearty breakfasts, and lots of catching up we said our good byes.   Mark and I went to storage and put stuff away and got things for the boat put in car.    Then to Coffee Hound downtown for nice hot drinks and read our books.    Took a caramel macchiato (and cherry pie) to Donna Rae and sat and gabbed in her cozy apartment as the clouds rolled in.

Mother's Day forecast sounds nasty - high of 48 and 100% chance of rain which started at 7 tonight.   We enjoyed our leftovers from last night at The Chanticleer.

HAPP MOTHER'S  DAY !!!
