Thursday - May 6

Goofy weather day - cloudy, windy, sun, rain, etc.     Only 60 so not warming up anytime soon.

Marsha, Sue, Brenda, Pat, Nadine, Connie

I went into town driving Big Red and met my Monday Night Friends at Crafted (my new favorite coffee spot in town) for coffee/pastries.   None of these gals had been there.    Out of 11, there were 6 who could come and of course, lots of fun chatting away.    Our group was formed back in 1973 with Tamara, Marsha and myself the charter members.    That's a long-time friendship that I so cherish with these gals

Said our goodbyes and hugs till we're together in September.    I filled the truck with diesel and then off to MODA for haircut with Morgan.    Always fun to chat with her and catch up on her baby, Piper, now  9 months old.   She's looking forward to her first Mother's Day.

Drove home thru rain and sun.    Mark is in Pontiac with my car having the auto park assist installed.   It never worked properly since we got it, but a long time waiting for parts to come in (since September).    He didn't get home till 4:45.

A "classic" Airstream (Flo's twin) pulled into KK this afternoon from Michigan.

Sun finally came out late afternoon - still chilly and windy.    We bundled up to go for a walk after supper - jackets and hooded sweatshirts + gloves - geez.....it's May 6th!!!   Liam and Connor's ballgame in Fairbury was canceled cause of the weather.
