Hot and sunny – left Flint around 8ish and drove to Frankenmuth – wonderful little town with neat shops/ great restaurants, etc. in a Bavarian-type setting. Stopped in Zehnder’s to browse for a bit (just the Market Place was open, with so many yummy goodies.) Then to Bronner’s which is the most magical, incredible, awesome shop for CHRISTMAS!!!! If you are ever near Frankenmuth, Michigan…..you’ve just got to stop and check it out. Bought some gifts and we were on our way (Mark gets more “attaboy” points for bringing me here).

Three hours later we arrived in Muskegon. Stopped at Meijer’s, West Marine, picked up my car at the marina and onto Max and Marley’s Dog House for lunch. We are each driving rest of the way home. We will have our rental car all week as you can’t do one-way with Canadian vehicles. But glad to get our car home. Long day, but arrived home at 6:30 (central time)!

Nite nite
