A very beautiful day on Georgian Bay....we left Killbear saying good-bye to Tony and Susie with hopes that we'll meet again...   Had a nice trip to Parry Sound and wow.....lots of big yachts in here (been seeing so many smaller, local boats), but we've arrived in the big town now....population of just under 5,900.

No church today - nothing even close to us, so we will pray extra hard.    God sure has blessed us with beautiful weather, Catrina performing well and the Captain and First Mate are having a wonderful time!

If and when our cell phones work up here, the calls are .75 - $1 a minute and for some reason our calling card isn't working.    Mark came up with the perfect solution.....we can Skype on the computer and talk - had a great connection with Mark's parents and my Dad and it was very cheap!       We've Skyped with the grandsons, but didn't know you could just use it as a telephone???    This technology is beyond me sometimes- course, my Captain sure knows what he's doing, too!!!

We walked downtown, uptown, somewhere.....not too much in this area, but 2 nice restaurants and Huckleberry's which I remembered from 4 years ago.   It's a classy cottage, home and garden decor shop in a  neat home!

Did 3 loads of laundry and gave Catrina a good scrubbing!    She is sparkling and we are looking forward to some "down" time the next few days and catch up on boat stuff plus take advantage of high speed internet while we have it!   Also a good, long bike ride is the plan for tomorrow - they have a nice fitness trail closeby.

Had a nice dinner at the Bay Street Cafe and then took the bikes and found the real "downtown" - there's a Wal-Mart here, McDonalds, Home Depot and on and on...."walked" the bikes up many hills but coming back was a breeze!

Have a fun 4th!
