Wednesday - August 1

Golly....August already!!!!    It started raining around midnight and no let up till 5 AM - nice and gentle which made for good sleeping!    However, remember yesterday I mentioned how good it felt to open Daisy's windows and let in the fresh, cool air?    Well.....duh.....we forgot to close the window on passenger side (my seat) and this morning....whoaaaa surprised and upset to find everything wet in that area....rain must of come at an angle to cover that much territory.   I'm the one who rolled down that window while Mark was checking into the office yesterday.....and then forgot all about it!!    But today was a good drying day - so we are ready to roll again tomorrow.

We drove 130 miles from Saco to Hermon, Maine (Pumpkin Patch RV Resort) and right here by the park is the Hermon Family Restaurant which is certainly a popular place.    Nice and handy for the RV'ers and many locals.    Lunch was delish.- good ole comfort food.

I did 4 loads of laundry this afternoon and Mark spent hours at the computer planning logistics of our trip into Canada (hopefully Friday after our mail arrives).

It was a beautiful day and tonight is cool - feels soo refreshing!
