Hot and sunny in VA Beach and perfect day to be on the water. We walked a very short little jaunt down the street to Duck Donuts - we remember these yummy concoctions from the Outer Banks back in 2007 on a family vacation. They opened here last October and going strong!!!
We walked around a bit and I shopped at Dodson's - wonderful gift/apparel/home décor shop. Came back to our room and caught up on e-mails and enjoyed all the texts and congrats on the birth of our new great nephew

Air show practice today and despite cloudy (hot) weather, they were able to do a high show.

Back to hotel and showers felt so good!
Went to Murphy's Irish Pub for delicious dinner - fun place and Don and Joan joined us. They have graciously offered to keep our car since we are flying out tomorrow morning (early) to Chicago. Until we return for the car (we'll be traveling thru Norfolk on our way south) and where we are with Catrina, they will just take care of it -
sure do appreciate their kind offer!
