Happy Labor Day
Hope this holiday has been relaxing, rewarding and rejuvenating for all...
We started the day with delicious mango waffles from Trader Joe's. Philip and Ryan met for breakfast in Cleveland! Glad they could get together. Ryan had big Labor Day air show this afternoon and Philip had flights to Myrtle Beach and Baltimore.
Annette and I took the kiddies to Target and spent about 1.5 hours browsing and sipping our Starbucks as the rain poured down, major thunder and the lights flickered off and on! Maeve slept thru it all. Got home and nary a drop!
Judith (neighbor) and grandson Judah stopped by in the afternoon with a gift for Maeve and to meet her for first time....nice visit with them!
Mark had another good day putzing away on Catrina and getting lots of piddly (and not so piddly odd jobs) done! Tonight he had dinner at Doug and Charlotte's.
