Hot 'n sunny......we had a leisurely morning, with Grandpa and Luke making a quick trip to the store for some Log Cabin syrup to go with the pancakes Grandpa made when they returned home!

Last night Grandpa swaddled Maeve (he gets her wrapped nice 'n tight). She was a little papoose when I put her in her bassinet at 9:00 with her head inclined. Did not hear a peep out of her till 8:10 this morning and when I went in her room, her little arms were moving around and only swaddled from her waist down and she was flat on her back! It was like she was saying "I've escaped"!!! What a good baby!

And after 11 hours of sleep, I'm a happy girl!
During these steamy days we are staying indoors, but Grandpa decided to stroll Maeve around the pool with Luke following behind this morning - one time around was enough!
Both of the kids took a 3.5 hour nap this afternoon (Grandpa and me, too) - well, not that long!
