Monday - July 20

Happy 4th Birthday,
  MAEVE
This little beauty is a bundle of energy, mischief, giggles and all things sweet.    Love how she "poses", her curls, and she can turn from being a girly girl to a rough 'n tumble tomboy in a flash!
Maeve''s new wheels - she asked big brother to give her a ride!!!

July 20th is a popular day for birthdays...along with Maeve, Auntie Karen (Mark's youngest sister) celebrates, my good friend, Allie and our friend/neighbor, Angie who has since passed.   It's also the 10-month anniversary of Patrick's passing.

We had fog and rocks today on our last stretch of 101 (for us).
Here are some clear and foggy pics....

Rocks, rocks....so many rocks

And California brought the sunshine!

We did NOT miss the strong winds...

We are at the Village Camper Inn RV Park in the woods near Crescent City, CA.    It was a 134-mile trip today stopping in Gold Beach, OR for our coffee fix at Pit Stop Javs and then Brookings, OR for lunch on Flo.

Just 1 night here and back to OR tomorrow.    We took a walk around the park - lots of CA residents here for the season.   It is nippy out but tomorrow, we'll be near Medford and the forecast is 100.   YIKES!

Connor is having surgery on his wrist tomorrow - important to get it set properly and will have pins and a plate which will come out in a year.

So a few days ago we saw Miss Piggy in the park; here in CA, these 2 big ole teddies are just hangin' out!!!

These people like flowers!
More spectacularly-colored hydrangeas in CA

Happy memories from 1 year ago...
