We left the boat at 6:10 this morning, got Toad hooked up behind truck and on our way at 6:30. We had some very heavy rain in parts of VA, but then a pretty drive in VA thru the Shenandoah Valley.
Mark drove Miss Daisy from storage in Morganton and I drove the truck pulling Toad. Arrived at the lake at 3. Let the unpacking begin1 HOT here!
Good to be back with the kids/kiddies, Bob and Judy (Brooke's parents). Rained hard for a short while around 5ish. Delicious dinner with lots pork tenderloin in mushroom sauce and lots of yummy veggies.
