Happy memories from 14 years ago.....thanks sooo much
Kiddos for our little blessings...Luke and Maeve.

Our first full day in Charleston was chock full of good stuff, starting with breakfast at the Ansonborough and then off to our carriage ride around historical Charleston.    Matthew was our tour guide and Donald, our horse.    GREAT trip!

Donald, Matthew, Kathy, Claire, Pat
Walked around the market area for a bit and then to Cru Cafe for lunch....

Celebrating Claire's birthday (May 1) at Cru - excellent lunch!

Retail shoe shopping at Charleston Shoe Co.

Pretty flowers all around the town

After the shoe shopping, we took our purchases back to the inn, rested a bit and then off to the Battery and Rainbow Row.    A delightful afternoon to stroll along the Cooper River and ooh and aah at all the homes, flowers, etc.

We toured the Calhoun Museum (24,000 sq. ft. and largest in the city)    This place was unbelievable and Ed, our tour guide was great!
In the garden at the Calhoun Museum

Had a wonderful dinner at SNOB (Slightly North of Broad)!
Eating our way around Charleston!!!
