 Sweet 16!

So proud of our funny, sweet, kind, great student and athlete, Liam!
He has a 💓 of gold!    We know his Dad is beaming with pride from up above!
Liam is wearing new T-shirt we gave him
"Life is Better with Gibson"

Because of Covid, Liam won't be getting his license till March 2nd.

We woke up to 37 degrees this morning - burrr......Mark was off to what we thought would be his final eye check-up.   His near and far distance are great, but having issues with the computer.    Dr. is very pleased with his progress and says it just takes time to "train the brain" to go from close-up to computer to distance.     They will see him again in 3 weeks.    "Do not focus on one eye - make your brain use both to do whatever you need to see."

We were off to Produce 31 - a U-pick farm in the country where we met Charlotte and Doug.     This place was founded by Mike Greenwell, a former professional baseball player (left field) for the Boston Red Sox for 16 years.    Mike always enjoyed gardening and after retirement resumed his favorite hobby and had a vision to open a fresh produce stand.    The Cracker Shack (restaurant) is there, along with various food items, the fresh produce and plenty to U-pick yourself, children's petting zoo, etc.

Then we were off to Babcock Ranch - 1st time visit for Charlotte and Doug.   We each drove and had our phones on speaker so we could talk as we meandered around to see all the homes (exploded since we were here 2 years ago), the golf course, Founders Square, etc.    We had a really good lunch at Slater's Goods and Provisions (excellent chicken cordon bleu pizza, wings and BLT - 7 slices of bacon)    So pleasant sitting and visiting in the sunshine and then ice cream at "Square Scoops".     Said our good byes around 3 and on home - planning to get together next week!!!    Very enjoyable afternoon!

Played euchre late afternoon with Mark and Nancy - Mark F and I beat Nancy and Mark C 3 of 3.    So much fun to get good cards!!!

Facetime with the birthday boy made for a nice ending to a fun day!
