Wednesday - February 3

Bright blue sunny skies but cold this morning.   Nice not to have the crazy winds from past 2 days - just a nice breeze.     We got the therapy/exercising out of the way, I walked to the produce stand and gave Dusty a little business with some Romaine, a tomato and quart of blueberries.    Love all his great-looking produce.    Mark did some tax work and ran a few errands.

Huge bunch of Romaine

After lunch we walked in the park.....met Alan, a former sailor on Lake Michigan out of Kenosha, WI.    He and Linda are from Libertyville, IL and now into RVing.    Hope to get together and visit again.

Some friends got in today on the Publix site for the vaccine (for one, her 1st time to try)!  Others still frustrated!!!

So many people to pray for and the list is always growing - today we are sad to hear from Anne that Mr. Taber (biology teacher at CCHS) is very ill with Covid.     All our kids have had him and a definite favorite to each one.   Now Liam (last year) and Connor, (this year) are reaping the benefits of this great teacher!   🙏🙏🙏

Mark grilled out burgers tonight   Loaded those babies up with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles.    And then added potato salad and cole slaw!    🐷🐷

Drew got his first vaccine today - he works at the University of Iowa hospital so, in the health care group.

Euchre with Mark and Nancy tonight - the Marks beat us 3 for 3...ugh!

We're to get down to 36 overnight!   Burrrr...
