Friday - April 2

Chilly and blustery this morning but the sun was shining - folks were bundled up out walking.    We did a "short" little jaunt but wimped out and decided to try later.

Mark was off to Galloway Lincoln to have a front license plate holder put on Big Red.   It's been on back order for weeks.    Since FL only has back plates, the cars/trucks do not automatically come with the bracket like we're used to back in IL.

Liam is with friends in Biloxi, MS this Easter weekend.

This chilly start to the day ended up just beautiful with temps reaching the low 70's along with all sunshine!    Opened the windows and love that fresh air!    We walked in the afternoon and enjoyed more beauty in the park.

Entrance to Cypress Trail
Some unusual blooms I hadn't seen before and my
2 favorite colors - lime and raspberry

We attended Good Friday services via Boston at The Cathedral of the Holy Cross.     Off to walk - really warm when the sun is out, but much cooler with more clouds rolling in.    Visited with Jim and Lydia and they gave us some of Paul's turtles - ahhhh, thanks so much!    They are leaving Cypress Trail on Monday but hoping Jim's back is better as he's now wearing a brace like Mark.    Sure hope his is short-lived~     Before they leave, we'll be celebrating Easter together - Mass and then brunch.

Despite many people leaving the park for the season, there's still plenty of activity - new tiki huts, RV's getting washed and waxed by the pros, new landscaping, pavers, groomers here for the dogs, etc.

It's been awhile since we've played euchre with Mark and Nancy - tonight we got back in the groove with my Mark and I beating Mark F and Nancy 2 of 3 games.

Enjoy your Easter weekend...
