Sunny, breezy and hot today - reached 90!. We walked this morning and then I wiped down all the patio furniture and we carted more stuff to the car/Big Red.
Off to Punta Gorda and the Laishley Crab House for lunch with Allie and Owen. So good to be with them again sitting outside overlooking the water on this pretty day. Lots to catch up on over drinks and lunch - all delicious!
We left there and drove to Pottery Express - Allie was looking for some decorative pottery for their lanai (having a new floor put in this week). They had never been to this huge place of every size, color and shape of pottery you could ever want. With the wind, it was very dusty out in the country (south of Punta Gorda), but we had fun traipsing around and Allie got 2 pieces (a sphere and a pot for flowers).
And then time for good bye hugs and hope to see them in September back in IL. Wish Jane and Joe could've been with us - today Joe celebrates his 86th birthday!!! On home and put away our patio furniture and Mark worked more in the shed. Walked around 6 and then said our good byes to neighbor Dick who is leaving with his pal Rusty for MA and taking a month to get there with family/friends and siteseeing along the way.
