Saturday - July 8

Mark checked radar first thing this morning and saw that the rain already in Fort Wayne at 6 AM, so we sure wanted to get the heck outta Vermilion and head east.    The fishermen were leaving in droves - Mark said must've been over 100 (I was still sleeping).

We got our stuff stowed, took quick showers and on our way at 7:54.    Water was a bit choppy but not bad and 38 miles later, we arrived in Cleveland.    We are at Oasis North Coast Marina and this is our 3rd visit - it's usually pretty empty, but today, quite a few boats although still plenty of room.   They are now charging $3.50 per foot (ouch) and no wi fi.

Ready for some exercise (it was very humid and muggy) and rain is coming, so we took our umbrellas and headed downtown.    Found "Betts" (8 blocks away) for lunch (coffee/cocktails/breakfast/lunch/dinner).    We both were very happy with our breakfasts.

Walked back to Catrina - lots of people out and about and we are docked next to the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame which is a big attraction.    The rain started at 2:15 and nice and gentle all afternoon.

We walked in the rain to 4:30 Mass at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist but it had stopped by the time to got there (6 blocks).   No rain when we came out of church but more coming...

Liam and 3 friends went to a concert last night in Milwaukee - Summer Fest and saw Zach Bryan perform.    I did not realize that this music festival is the world's largest covering 3 weekends, 11 stages and over 900,000 fans.    Liam loved it all - "one of the coolest experiences I've ever had"!!!
