Monday - May 2

Today started out chilly, foggy, with a light misty rain!   Ugh - enough of this gloomy stuff!    Some sunshine please!!!     Ahhhhh, but my voice is back

We left Adventure Bound RV Resort and drove to Deale, MD for breakfast at the South County Café.    Mark had been here before and it's a cute little place in a house with rooms that just ramble on.    One of their specials this morning was a Chicken Cordon Bleu Biscuit - that's what I had and it was excellent!    Mark enjoyed his eggs, sausage and toast and then we were off to talk to Karl, the mechanic for Catrina.   We were to meet at 8:30 (he showed up at 9:35)!

This man has absolutely no communication skills - never returns texts, e-mails or phone calls.    He has had Catrina since September 17th and has pretty much done nothing!    I could rant and rave but the his simple story is "I do want to fix your boat, but been very busy,"    So, no clue if/when we'll have Catrina back floating and get in some boating this summer?    Very frustrating.....
Karl was named the top mechanic on the Chesapeake and came highly recommended!
  AAARRGGHHHH

BUT.... it's "JUST A BOAT" and there are oh-so-many other more serious issues (health) all around us, so not going to dwell on this.   It is what it is!

So we were on our way with Daisy and Toad by 10:00 truckin' on down the road heading west to Bloomington (Wednesday).    Since we are further north, there are a lot of budding trees just coming out - so spring time all over again!    And we did see some occasional sun - western Maryland is so pretty!

Tonight we are at the Barkcamp State Park near Belmont, OH - pretty park with just  a handful of other campers.    There's lots of pretty dogwood all around us!

Beauty right outside Daisy's back window
