We had a fabulous day in Annapolis!     Sunny skies, breakfast with Ryan at the Iron Rooster

My mixed berry homemade pop tart!

and later met friends, Doug and Charlotte at Carrol's Creek for lunch (delish) .    Then we walked to the air show on the Naval Academy campus.

 Charlotte and Pat

Charlotte, Pat, Mark, Doug

After the show we walked back to their car and drove (s l o w l y) to Rita's Custard - excellent, but traffic was unreal!    They took us back to our car, but Mark and I decided to stay downtown a bit and let the traffic clear.    We went to Mangia's for drinks and an appetizer.    We were finally on our way around 6:30 an other than one short heavy stretch, we sailed on back to our hotel.    Showers felt so good and we are tired but happy to have spent such a fun day with Charlotte and Doug.    We met them in Marathon a few years ago (they have a boat just like Catrina).    They live here and this is our 2nd year to share the Blues with them!

Can't believe our 4 days here in this wonderful city are over!    Tomorrow morning we will be
North Carolina bound!

#5 and 6 flying over the Chapel at the Naval Academy this afternoon
