Hello from Pensacola Beach where record-breaking crowds descended today to watch the Blues for their "dress rehearsal".....wow! Great show with so many Blues fans who started arriving at 5:30 AM to get "their" spot on the beach!
We exercised and left at 8 for the beach (18 miles). Parked the car and just hung out at the Hilton and very glad to be ahead of the traffic.
We had lunch at the Casino Beach Bar & Grill and then it was time for the 2:00 practice. Met the family of Ryan's crew chief originally from Peoria, IL and now live in Alabama.

We got to meet Terry Hynds with the Airware Company who did out T-shirts.
So good to get settled in our room after the show,, showers and later had drinks and appetizer downstairs. Whew...it was HOT out there today!

Tonight we went to a reception here at the hotel - big crowd (the entire Blue Angel team, family members and invited guests from the community!) Great time.
After a big day in the sun and sand....we are sooo tired! We'll be doing this again tomorrow! Nighty night!
