Sunday - July 3

Another busy day in Traverse City and another winner in the weather department!    We met Ryan for breakfast at the coffee shop of his hotel and then we all went to Christ the King for 9:00 Mass.    We took him back to hotel and we were off to downtown for the air show.    We did a quick change of clothes from church to Blue Angel garb in the parking deck and then met my cousin, Denny, Deb and their daughter Kelsey and her fiancé, Jason.    We had so much fun all day long starting with delicious breakfast at Amical and then walked around checking out the many booths and sooo many cherry related food and drink possibilities you could imagine!

There were soo many people today and we all enjoyed the Blues (1st time for the Jones clan).    Afterwards we walked to the Grand Traverse Pie Co. (3rd time) and enjoyed pie and ice cream.   Everyone was very happy!    Said our good byes and look forward to seeing Denny and Deb (from Indiana)  this winter at their new condo in Punta Gorda.   Jason and Kelsey are getting married December 17th.    They are both CPA's in Chicago and such a neat couple!

It was so fun to share this big day with them.....took a while to get back to Daisy with all the traffic but then we got some laundry together and did 2 loads (doing laundry in our state-of-the-art laundry room here at this wonderful park is not a hardship - ha!)

I walked around the park to get my 10,000 steps and now so ready for bed.....another big day tomorrow with friends coming for the big 4th of July show....

This photo was taken Friday over Traverse Bay - Ryan and world-famous, Michael Goulian, a stunt pilot.   The photographer (in another plane) came up and introduced himself to Mark today.

Hope your holiday weekend continues to be safe and fun all day tomorrow!
