HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY, CONNOR

 

Our 5th grandson - Connor Leonard

July 14, 2006

 

AND today...

 

Such a neat young man full of vim and vigor - loves his hockey and baseball, his friends,

school and soon will be in 5th grade!

 

We had a fun day driving to Santa Rosa Beach 70+ miles west of here where Brooke's family (parents, brother and family) are vacationing this week with Brady.   Since he was so close and we had nothing special to do today, we headed over that way!    Brooke's aunt and uncle (Judy's bother, Dean and Jane) have a home off the beach and so fun to see everyone!

 

Santa Rosa Beach is gorgeous - water is so clear and warm with beautiful white sand!

We were back in Pensacola around 5, picked up a dry cleaning order and then went to Barnes and Noble....browsed a bit and bought my 2017 calendar!  

 

Weather is threatening and the Blues just got their practice in this afternoon before some bad weather rolled in.    We were fine coming back from the beach with just a very light shower.

 

So tomorrow we are headed to Pensacola Beach till Sunday for the Blue Angels big beach show - expecting record-breaking crowds.    Michael has graciously gotten us a room for 2 nights at the Hilton, so.....once we are settled, won't have to worry about traffic!   It's gonna be crazy!
