Thinking of my Mom who passed away July 7, 2009.....seems like only yesterday when we were in Denali National Park, Alaska and my Dad called....miss you so much, Mom!
I did 3 loads of laundry this morning - free washer and dryer here - just one, but that's ok! Mark ran some errands including taking our bikes in for some maintenance (brake and shift gear check).
Walked to AJ's Snack Shack for another yummy lunch.
The bike shop called and said bikes were done. Mark picked them up and we took a little ride thru the marina parking lot - much better shifting gears and puttin' on the brakes!
Correction from yesterday per Anne.....apparently we were in Buffalo many years ago (1989) after Niagara Falls and even checked out the Bills stadium. Michael was a big fan back in the day...
The memories are not at all clear on that one, but nothing new these days! Ha.
Started packing for our trip to NC next week Went to 4:30 Mass at St. Francis of Assisi and then to CVS for a few things. Had salads (HUGE) at The Shores which were very good - so leftovers!
When we got back to the boat, we talked to our neighbors, Geoff and Celeste. They invited us aboard their 65' SeaRay (Geoff is one of the Smith Boys). We had such a nice visit and I got the tour of their beautiful yacht, we drank wine and yakked about kids/grandkids, boating, etc. It was such a beautiful night to sit out on the back of "My Cee Ray". And then the added attraction of the Niagara Falls fireworks which are a daily event around 10 PM.

Forgot this yesterday....
When in Buffalo, you gotta eat wings....original birthplace of this famous food item!
