Sunday - July 8

Perfect sunny Sunday - 82 and so many out and about enjoying this day on the water, downtown, in parks, having ice cream (like us), etc.

We had breakfast at Lou's downtown - a popular local spot and very good (Mark had the corned beef 'n hash which was excellent) - I had peaches 'n cream French toast!!!

Back to Catrina to do more packing, organizing our stuff and making room for the boys coming so they have a spot for their stuff!     I got a mani/pedi at Cindy's Nails - enjoyed the pampering!

Mark picked me up and he was on the hunt for ice cream.....Mississippi Muds fit that bill - quite the place with all kinds of ice cream concoctions, plus lots of other food - busy place.

We toured the Herschell Carrousel Museum - interesting how the carrousel came to be and seeing the various areas where they carved the horses (now they are fiberglass), painted them, along with the Wurlitzer organ (band organ was built here in Tonawanda, too), that accompanies the carrousel.    I've always enjoyed this ride (and now know some history and how it all came about) or merry-go-round....our ticket price $5 each included a ride...

Back to our childhood....

neat rooster
Line-up of animals...

Had our salad leftovers from last night for supper.    Went for a bike ride - lovely evening!

Classy little lady....

Grandpa and I are so excited that we'll see all 8 of our grandchildren this week!    Off to NC tomorrow and planning to arrive at Lake James on Tuesday.
