Sunny and warm....humidity is high! No rain! We walked downtown and had bagel sandwiches/coffee and back to Catrina to hop on the bikes and take a little ride thru a residential neighborhood. We miss the awesome North Coast Inland Trail outside Fremont/Lindsey/Elmore.
Jim (mechanic) called Mark - he's coming Monday with the part so we'll take it slow 'n easy tomorrow heading back to Port Clinton on 1 engine.
What we thought would be a 3-day stay here in Vermilion, turned out to be 10 days. But....not a problem. Mark and I could live in this town - very much enjoyed our stay here with nice dockage for Catrina, great restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream, shopping, walking, biking, the beautiful lagoon homes, close to church, the gorgeous flowers and the friendly locals! We've certainly done our part to boost their economy😀

Had a late lunch at Quaker Steak and Lube just steps away from Catrina. We ate on the porch and kept an eye on the very threatening skies.
Ominous looking sky - Mark and our neighbor from Leamington, ON discussing the weather
And it kept getting darker but only got a few sprinkles!!!!
Our kiddos in Jackson Hole are having fun...Blair wanted this big ole stuffie but as Brooke pointed out, "we'd have to buy another seat on the plane"! Ha....for sure
Oh I love him sooo much!

Around 5, we walked back downtown (1 last trip - we've made this trek many times - 3/10 to 1/2 mile each way depending on where we're going). Mark wanted to check the marina and see Barb on "Whimsea" (cute little 1987 red tugboat) who just came in this afternoon. He was tracking her on her blog and had first met her in Port Clinton (she had boat issues, too). Tomorrow we'll both be on the same route!
I wanted to pick up a few more items at Brummer's and then we met at the beach, sat a bit (it is very steamy and sultry after the teeny tiny bit of rain) and on back to Catrina.
Enjoy your weekend!
