We checked radar this morning and also along the way.....rain was heading east and around the Cleveland area when we left at 7:05. We did 37 miles and 9 locks and have officially finished the Erie Canal System (29 locks)! Tah Dah......we arrived at Waterford, NY at 12:45 and are tied up along the wall with free power and water. The Farmer's Market was going on and we stocked up on some fresh veggies.
Walked downtown and had good lunch at McGreivey's. We've had just a light shower, but heavier rain coming overnight and tomorrow.
We are headed to Albany tomorrow (1 lock on the Hudson River and about 6 miles to our marina).
