Wednesday, August 3

We were up early to exercise and then move Catrina to the Ess Kay Boat Yard in Brewerton.   Borrowed a courtesy car from marina and picked up the rental car (Mark will be sporting around in a little red Nissan Versa with Connecticut plates.)  Stopped at Panera for a snack and then off to the Syracuse airport.

Good flight to Chicago, bus ride to Rockford where Mark's folks picked me up and I am using
one of their cars while I'm home.

Dad is not doing well....sleeps alot, not eating and drinking very little.   So sad to see him this way.   COPD is a horrible disease and such a struggle with his breathing, coughing, etc.     I talked to his doctor, head nurse and social worker today - it's all about keeping him comfortable!
He's definitely a favorite of the nurses and aides!

Catrina facts…. From the time we left Muskegon on June 22 until the end of yesterday, we had traveled exactly 1200 miles. That’s covering a LOT of water!

Mark has a long job list of boat stuff to do while I’m gone….he will enjoy this time doing his thing!

So tired....nite nite
