Friday - July 9

Cooler today in the low 70's.    Cloudy this morning but sunshiny all afternoon.    Grandpa went to Coffee Express and brought back coffees and hot chocolates for all.  We had a quiet morning on Catrina and just hung out doing our thing.     After lumch I got a haircut, mani/pedi at CG's Salon (Beauty and Barber) where Grandpa has Gina cut his hair.    I had Ainsley and was there 2 hrs. 15 minutes.    While I was enjoying the pampering, Grandpa and the kiddos went to East Harbor State Park (9 miles away).    Our neighbor Bob told us about this beach.    They had fun in the water but then after 40 minutes, they were cold and wanted to come back to Catrina where they all enjoyed nice hot showers.

They picked me up and off to Toft's Ice Cream Parlor.  Biggest decision of the day - choosing from 51 flavors.    They both had "Cedar Point Cotton Candy" + Blair also had a dip of "Unicorn Dreams".   Grandpa had "chocolate almond" and I had "plastered praline pecan".    Everyone happy with their choice!

Back home and settled in for the late afternoon/evening - so pretty out.

The kids (especially Blair) love to play "restaurant" with a menu, hostess, waitress, cook, kitchen clean-up, etc.    They are good helpers!     Here's how our day went....
