Thursday - July 8

This weather continues to fool us - today was supposed to be 70% chance of rain, but after a humid "looks it will rain any time morning", the sun came out in the afternoon and it was breezy and delightful!    No complaints when you have 2 active kiddos on the boat.    3 of us slept in (Grandpa was the early bird) and after breakfast, Grandpa got a haircut and I played dominoes (2 rounds) with the kids with Luke the winner.    The big travel lift (right beside us) took out a boat this morning so they watched that action, too.

Then it was off to the playground, beach and finally, the popcorn store.    We watched the drawbridge go up to let 2 boats go thru and then come back down again.   We came on home and it was movie time on Catrina watching "Heroes".

Watching "Heroes" on Netflex

Played Uno with Luke (he won) and then at 4, we had a little shower!

Zoom this afternoon with Claire and Kathy - 1st time in several weeks.    Fun catching up and seeing one another - all having a busy summer.    Grandpa took the kiddos bowling and the arcade and then picked me up and we went to the Port Clinton Candy Store.   Oh my........it's been a fun day!

Great candy store with all the old timey candies

Thinking of and praying for my cousin, Jane and 3 other friends all having serious surgeries this month.  May they be blessed with successful surgery, healing and recovery.
And special prayers for their doctors.
