A cloudy, muggy start to the day after 2/10" of rain last night. Mark did his weights, we had breakfast and then off to Venice. LOVE this town and the historic downtown, shops, restaurants, etc. Mark got some new clothes and then sat in the car with his I-pod while I browsed more shops. Then it was time to meet my brother Ron and Vicki at Dockside Waterfront Grill - lobster bisque, grouper sandwiches and lobster roll - all of us were happy happy! So good to get together and catch up overlooking the water and boats. They came to Fort Myers from Lakeland on April 13th, so this was a long overdue visit.

Said our good byes and on home for us. We both took a nap - so much go go go this week + lots of good eating!
Tonight was fun - a "Welcome Back" party for the Cypress Trail residents. Big crowd under the Tiki Hut with cheeseburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, cole slaw, chips + little mini cakes for dessert! Also a special salute to the veterans and some good music. So good to see familiar faces and catch up and meet some new folks (one couple from Woodstock, IL). We sat with Jim and Lydia, Rog and Martin, Dennis and Jamie. Good time!!!
