We were off at 8:15 to meet Connie and Steve at 9 at Sweet Bean Cafe - a favorite we had not been to in several years. Their specialty is grilled cinnamon bread which comes with most entrees - sooo good.
Enjoyed our visit with these long-time friends, "Happy Holidays, good bye hugs and we were off to run a few errands.

Home to finish the packing.....decided to leave tomorrow instead of Friday to get some hours out of the way and not have 2 long days to North Carolina. Planning to arrive at Lake James on Saturday.
We took Jim and Lydia to the airport at 4:30 for their flight home to St. Louis. Back home to pack up the car and finish leftovers in the fridge!
I watched the last episode of Season 10 of "Call the Midwife"......oh my, tears, tears and more tears as it was a recap of the past 10 years with the characters sharing their favorite scenes, episode, etc.
Soooo many awesome memories.
