Wednesday - November 10

Love these cool mornings and evenings with upper 70's-low 80's tucked in between!!!    We stopped at the office with our gift from the giving tree (our residents are giving Christmas gifts to the Tice Elementary school children).    Then off to Buckingham Farms for breakfast - (1st time this fall and a BIG favorite for breakfast or lunch)!    Once again, the food was wonderful and so pleasant sitting outdoors.

A warm fall welcome at entrance to  Buckingham Farms
My flatbread breakfast pizza was deeeelicious
Plenty of leftovers, too

Then to Publix for a few things - a brand new store was under construction when we left in the spring so decided to check it out......well, would you believe the grand opening is tomorrow - November 11 at 7 AM.    We could see them inside working away, still laying carpet, etc.    We also noticed next door "Patricia's Mexican Restaurant" is opening tomorrow!

So, picked up a few things at Dollar Tree and then to another Publix.    They are sooo accommodating.  In years past, I could buy a small loaf of their different bakery breads but now only have the full size loaf.    I asked the lady if she had any 1/2 size and she said "No, but I'll slice that and bag up just 1/2 !   Now how nice was that!    You cannot beat their service!

On home for about 3 hours till we were off again.    I got my flowers planted - yeah!    Now I can enjoy them about 10 more days in November, late December into April.   Rog, next door offered to water them while we're gone!    Like a good neighbor, Rog is there!   😊

A little colorful beauty by the she shed and Flo

Mark did his weights, I got a load in the washer and had several e-mails and texts to take care of.   We
left at 12:45 with Target as our 1st stop and then our dental appts. with Dr. Baxmann.    This was Mark's first time.    I was here in 2017 getting a crown.    So, we were very impressed with our hygienists and their newer technology.    We had x-rays and thee most thorough cleaning ever!    Cost more than Bloomington, but very pleased overall and Dr. Baxmann is so nice and informative!

On home and sat on the patio enjoying our beverages and wonderful cookies we got at Norman Love.   Life is too short....."Eat Dessert First"   😊    I made spaghetti and salad for dinner.
