We walked this morning and ran into Kim and Matt from Ohio - good to see them back here. We had lots of fun playing euchre 2 years ago, so "hoping" we can resume those games again.
Off to Punta Gorda with our 1st stop at Home Depot on the hunt for my flowers (impatiens). They didn't have exactly what I wanted. But the poinsettias are out for sure...
Then to Laishley Crab House for lunch with Allie and Owen who drove from North Port. We were going to sit outdoors overlooking the water and boats, but with all the ceiling fans whirling away and a strong breeze, we moved indoors where it was more comfy. Wonderful lunch as always here (grouper taco salads for Allie and me; Crab Louis salad for Owen and crab salad sandwich for Mark). We sat and yakked for almost 2 hours and then said good bye.....nothing more fun than getting together with long-time friends and catching up over a good lunch! Outside in the sunshine, much warmer - 80.
